Teen pulls Romulus woman from flaming car

Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that Deputies investigated a one car personal injury motor vehicle accident that occurred on St. Rt. 96 in the Town of Fayette. Janet Rogers-Brown age 63 of 1779 Yale Farm Rd. Romulus, NY was south bound on St. Rt. 96 when she fell asleep at the wheel. Her vehicle veered off the road and struck a culvert.Rogers-Brown was treated at the scene by North Seneca Ambulance for shoulder pain and transported to Geneva General Hospital. Waterloo Fire Dept also responded to scene for a report that the vehicle was on fire.A witness to the accident William F. Petrie age 14 of 5519 Rt. 96 Romulus saw flames coming from the front of the vehicle after the accident and pulled Rogers-Brown from the vehicle.
