Seneca County Sheriff’s Dept. Activity for 6/13

Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that Deputies arrested Daniel S. McElligott age 42 of 79 Hewitt St. Rochester NY on a bench warrant for failure to appear from the Town of Waterloo Court. McElligott was arrested at the Monroe County Correctional Facility as he was released on unrelated charges. McElligott was arraigned in the Town of Waterloo Court where he paid $950 of a $1120 fine and released. He is to pay the rest of his fine at a later date.Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that Deputies arrested a 14 year old juvenile for attempted assault in the third degree. The charge stems from a domestic incident in the Town of Junius which the 14 year old juvenile grabbed a Town of Junius resident by the hair and tried scratching their face, punching and pulling their hair from the back their head making them fall to the ground and continuing to scratch and punch them. Due to their age the Sheriff’s Office is not releasing their name. The juvenile was transported to the Seneca County Probation Dept. to answer to the charge.The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Grailan S. Linton, 40, of 49Mynderse Street Apt. 2 in Seneca Falls, New York, on a bench warrant issued out of the Seneca County Court for failing to pay the court surcharge on a charge of Burglary in the second degree. Linton was remanded in the Seneca County Correctional Facility on no bail. Linton is to reappear in the Seneca County Court at a later date.
