On June 10th, 2011 at approx. 12:32 AM Seneca Falls Police arrested James M. O’Connor, age 32 and Adrienne M. Povero, age 28 both from 14 Auburn Road Apt#8 Seneca Falls, NY following a traffic stop on West Bayard Street. On June 10th, 2011 at approx. 12:24 AM the Seneca Falls Police Department conducted a traffic stop on West Bayard Street near Rumsey Street. Here it was discovered that the driver of this vehicle, James M. O’Connor had been operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition. Officer’s then had O’Conner exit his vehicle to perform field sobriety tests.While Officers were performing these field sobriety tests a second vehicle pulled up behind the patrol vehicle that had O’conner’s vehicle stopped along side the roadway. When Officers approached this vehicle it was learned that the driver of this vehicle, Adrienne M. Povero stopped to check and see if her boyfriend James M. O’Connor was alright. This is when Police discovered that Povero was also operating her vehicle in an intoxicated condition. A short time later both subjects were taken into custody and transported back to the Seneca Falls Police Department for processing. James M. O’Connor was charged with Driving While Intoxicated; having a blood alcohol level greater than .08%; and no tail lamps. O’Connor’s blood alcohol level was .16%.Adrienne M. Povero was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and having a blood alcohol level greater than .08%. Povero’s blood alcohol level was .10%.Both O’Connor and Povero were turned over to a third party and issued Uniform Traffic Ticket to appear in the Seneca Falls Court on June 16th, 2011 at 10:00 AM to answer their charges.
