Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports Sheriff’s Deputies arrested James J. Mason Jr., age 36, of 1502 Dudley Avenue, Utica, New York on a Warrant issued out of Seneca County Family Court. Mason was arraigned before the Town of Waterloo Court and committed to the Seneca County Jail in lieu of $500 Bail/$1000 Bond. Mason is to appear before Seneca County Family Court at a later date.The Seneca County Sheriif’s Office reports that Sheriff’s Investigator’s and and Investigators from the Department of Human Services Fraud Unit arrested Rokia A. Kay Sr , age 32, of 2331 East Seneca Street Lodi for offering a false instrument for filing in the first degree. Kay is accused of filing a false instrument with a public benefits corporation on 11/12/10. Kay was arraigned before the Village of Waterloo Court and was released, he is scheduled to reappear in court on 7/6/11 at 9am.Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that Deputies arrested a 15 year old juvenile for intentionally pulling the fire alarm at a Town of Varick business while there was no emergency or fire. The juvenile was charged with falsely reporting an incident in the second degree. Due to his age the Sheriff’s Office is not releasing his name. He is to appear at Seneca County Probation Dept on June 17, 2011 to answer to the charge.
