When the next school band and chorus concert takes place on Wednesday evening, it will be made in the newly named Douglas Avery Performing Arts Center.The Seneca Falls Central School District board members voted on Monday to officially renamed the auditorium in honor of Avery, who retires this month after 35 years in the district as a music teacher.District Superintendent Bob McKeveny informed Avery, his students and a packed auditorium of that new name following Monday night’s varsity chorus concert.
