Seneca Community Players production of “Fallen Angels” has been awarded two Roving Adjudicator Merit Awards from the Theater Association of New York State (TANYS). The mission of TANYS is “to foster the contribution of theatre to the lives of the citizens of New York State, to promote high standards of theatre practice through education and example and to encourage exchanges of information and knowledge through people-to-people and theatre-to-theatre exchanges.”The award of Meritorious Achievement for Ensemble Acting was presented to the Cast for: “consistent dialect usage throughout, for performance use of music with song and for appropriate interpretation of their respective roles”.A second Meritorious Achievement award was presented for Costume Design and Execution to Krystal Scott. The adjudicator commented “1940’s British costuming was consistently appropriate to both the period and the class and tastefully achieved”.”Fallen Angels” continues this weekend, June 3 & 4 in the Delavan Theatre on the New York Chiropractic College campus, 2360 Rte. 89 in Seneca Falls at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance; $12 at the door.
