The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports Sheriff’s Deputies arrested three people following a traffic stop on Route 89 in the Town of Fayette.A passenger in the vehicle, Melinda M. Sutton, 20, of 3241 Lake Road in Seneca Falls, New York, was charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, a Class B Felony, after Deputies discovered a quantity of cocaine, methamphetamine, oxycontin and methadone in her possession in the vehicle. Sutton was arraigned in the Waterloo Village Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $3,000 cash bail/$6,000 secured bond. Sutton is to reappear in the Waterloo Village Court on June 7th, 2011 at 1:30pm. Sutton also had an outstanding warrant out of the Rochester Police Department and will be turned over to them at a later date.Deputies also charged the driver of the vehicle, Erin E. Suggs-Burns, 38, of 6151 Route 79 in Chenango Forks, New York, on charges of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Third Degree and Speed in Zone. Suggs-Burns was arraigned in the Waterloo Village Court and remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $750 cash bail/$1,500 secured bond. Suggs-Burns is to reappear in the Fayette Town Court on July 6th, 2011 at 6pm.Additionally, Deputies charged another passenger in the vehicle after he pretended to be someone else with a fake driver’s license. Francis J. McCormack, 31, of 3241 Lake Road in Seneca Falls, New York, was charged with False Personation and was also arraigned in the Waterloo Village Court. McCormack was remanded to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $1,500 cash bail/$3,000 secured bond and is to reappear in the Fayette Town Court on July 6th, 2011.After Deputies confirmed McCormack’s identity, it was discovered that he had two outstanding warrants out of the Geneva Police Department and the Rochester Police Department. McCormack will be turned over to those agencies at a later date.The Seneca County Sheriff’s K-9 Narcotics Detector dog assisted in the search of the suspects and vehicle.
