TCAT’s summer service will be in effect Sunday, May 29 through Saturday, Aug. 20.Though summer service generally spans those dates, some of the current routes and schedules will vary to accommodate departing and arriving students.Changes are as follows:Route 22 will provide service between Green Street, Cass Park and Taughannock Falls StatePark from Monday, June 27 through Friday, Aug. 19.Route 30 will not operate on Saturdays and Sundays beginning Sunday, May 29. Weekend service will resume on Saturday, Aug. 20.Route 31 will not run the 10:40 p.m. trip departing from Green Street. The late-night trip will resume Monday, Aug. 22.Routes 83 will not operate starting Tuesday, May 31, and will resume service on Friday. Aug. 19.Route 92 will not operate starting Sunday, May 29, and will resume service on Friday, Aug. 19.Route 93 will not operate on Sundays starting May 29, and will resume service on Sunday, Aug. 21. TCAT, Inc. (Tompkins Consolidated Area Transit, Inc.) is a not-for-profit corporation that provides public transportation for Tompkins County and surrounding areas. TCAT’s annual ridership is nearly 3.6 million, covering a distance of 1.7 million miles. The fleet of approximately 55 buses currently includes 8 hybrid electric-diesel buses.
