Cornell University’s 143rd Commencement ceremony will prompt detours on Routes 51 and 70 all day Sunday, May 29.Route 51 outbound from downtown will serve the stop at College Avenue @ Dryden Road and will bypass all stops until Fairview Apartments (Maple Avenue). Route 51inbound to downtown will serve the stop at Fairview Apartments and will bypass all stops until Schwartz Performing Arts Center/ Collegetown.Route 51 will not serve any stops on Cornell’s campus for the duration.Route 70 will be detoured through West Campus and will not serve East Avenue all day.The Statler Hall stop will be relocated to Carpenter Hall; the Sage Hall stop will be relocated to Anabel Taylor; the Goldwyn Smith and Rockefeller Hall stops will be relocated to Baker flagpole/ West Campus; the Balch Hall and Risley Hall stops will be relocated to Thurston Avenue @ Fall Creek Drive. NO TCAT SERVICE MEMORIAL DAY MONDAYIn addition, TCAT is closed and will not offer service on Monday, May 30, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
