The Farm to Chef Meet and Greet is an opportunity for Finger Lakes food suppliers and farmers to share what food products are available with nearby chefs and cooks. Chefs and cooks will also have the opportunity to express ingredient needs for various dishes they choose to prepare for the upcoming 2011 Cork and Fork “Partners and Parings” event where they will prepare a dish using locally sourced products paired with one of the many local wines.The Farm to Chef Meet and Greet will be held on June 14, 2011 from 9am to 12pm at the Holiday Inn, Waterloo, New York for chefs, food producers and farmers interested in sourcing and procuring local foods. Information on safe product handling will also be available that day as well as exhibitor packets for the upcoming Cork and Fork event.If you would like to participate, please complete the registration form found at www.senecacountycce.org.
