On Monday, May 16, 2011 at about 9:40 PM, the Waterloo Village Police Department Arrested 2 Waterloo residents following an investigation into a large marijuana growing operation. Arrested were Kevin D. Westcott, age 35, of 342 East Main Street for Growing marijuana and Endangering the welfare of a child. Tammy L. Bojczuk, age 32, of 342 East Main St. was arrested for Possession of Marijuana and endangering the welfare of a child. Mr. Westcott and Ms. Bojczuk were found to be growing 58 mature adult marijuana plants and several other marijuana plants in separate stages on their property. The couple was also keeping marijuana inside their house while their 3 children were present and living there. Police confiscated the Marijuana and Several pieces of growing equipment and supplies from the scene. The street value of the Marijuana was estimated at about $4,000. Seneca County Child Protective Services assisted the police at the scene and the couple was released after their arrest. The investigation is continuing.
