Grab your honey and jump on your Harley for the fourth annual Memorial Day Biker Rally led by the Patriot Guard Riders of New York. More than 200 bikers are expected to gather for the 112 mile ride through the beautiful Finger Lakes.This year’s ride will include visits to Owasco, Skaneateles and Weedsport.Entry forms are available at www.waterloony.com or participants may register at the VFW, 29 West Elisha St., from 8 to 10 a.m. on Monday, May 30. Bikers from throughout the area are invited to join the “Ride With Respect” to pay tribute to our troops. Riders will leave the VFW at 10 a.m. and return about 2 pm where a light buffet lunch will be available. Proceeds benefit the NYPGR, Waterloo VFW, Waterloo American Legion and Celebrate Commemorate.The 12th annual Celebrate Commemorate event will be held May 27-30 in Waterloo, the Birthplace of Memorial Day. For more information about the events, go to www.waterloony.com.The 145th consecutive commemoration of Memorial Day will be on Monday, May 30, with MG Dennis Lutz as main speaker. It will include prayer services, and the official Memorial Day parade, at 6 pm coordinated by the American Legion.
