On April 28th, 2011 at 9:45 pm emergency crews were dispatched to McCann Road for a report of a one car MVA with a power outage in the area. They arrived on scene to find Kyle Pinkard’s (age 19, of Victor) vehicle off the road after having struck a utility pole.Mr, Pinkard had to be extricated from his vehicle by the East Bloomfield Fire Department.He was treated at the scene by Canandaigua Ambulance and. transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight with serious internal injuries and. is in critical condition. The Canandaigua. Fire Department also responded. to the scene to assist with traffic control and McCann Rd. was closed for approximately 4 hours. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
