Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Randy D Best, age 53 of Cayuga St. in Interlaken for falsely reporting an incident in the 2nd degree.It is alleged that Best contacted the 911 Center reporting a fire at a residence in the Town of Ovid, where no fire did actually exist.Best was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear at the Town of Ovid Court on May 16, 2011 to answer the charge.
