Teens run with take-out order in Seneca Falls

2 teenagers and a juvenile were arrested for an incident that occurred in the Village of Seneca Falls on 04/18/11. Village police state they were dispatched to the Parker’s Grille and Tap House on Fall Street in Seneca Falls for a report of a larceny.Witnesses reported that a 15-year-old female ran out of the restaurant with a pick-up order that she had not paid for. Witnesses also stated that the 15-year-old was with a pair of female teenagers, ages 16 and 18, prior to stealing the pick-up order and gave police a description of the 3 teenagers involved. Police located the 3 females and detained them until their parents arrived.Upon further investigation, it was learned that the 3 females had conspired with one another and agreed to place a pick-up order and allow the 15-year-old to steal the order.The 15-year-old was petitioned to Family Court on the charge of Petit Larceny.The 16-year-old female was charged after an arrest warrant was issued on 04/19/11. Her name is being withheld due to her eligibility for Youthful Offender Status. She was charged with Conspiracy in the 6th Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child and was arraigned before Judge Mahoney. She was committed to SCCF on $10,000 Cash/$20,000 Bond. During the arraignment, the 16-year-old was acting in a disrespectful and disruptive manner in the courtroom and was charged with Contempt of Court and sentenced to 30 days in jail. The 16-year-old is to re-appear in court on 05/11/11 at 9 a.m. to answer the charges.The 18-year-old female, Tara E. Oldfield-Parker, of 221 Fall Street, Apt. 1, Seneca Falls, NY was also arrested in connection with the above matter. Parker was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Conspiracy in the 6th Degree, and Petit Larceny. She was issued appearance tickets on all charges and is to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on 04/21/11 at 10:00 a.m. to answer the charges. The pick-up order was recovered at the scene.
