On Saturday, May 14, 2011, from 7:00 – 11:00 am the Seneca Meadows Landfill will hold its 9th, annual Mulch Give-Away for Seneca County residents. Red and brown hardwood mulch is purchased from a local vendor for the event, and doled out on a first come, first served basis at the Landfill office building on Route 414 in Waterloo. Participants should bring a pick-up truck, trailer or containers for their mulch, and must show proof of residency. Landfill personnel will be on hand to assist those with containers. Mulch is limited to two scoops per household.
