Irene R. Young-Inglesby, age 58, of Canandaigua NY and Alfred A. Inglesby, age 67, same address were each charged with one count of Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the 1st degree following an investigation that revealed they had intentionally filed documents with the Ontario County Department of Social Services in which they failed to disclose that they were married and living together. Further, they failed to properly report all household income since May of 2009. Consequently, Mrs. Young-Inglesby received $4,642 in public assistance benefits to which she was not entitled. Both were issued an appearance ticket and released to appear in the Hopewell Town Court on a later date to answer the charge. Additional charges are still pending.
