Seneca Falls man threatens to kill woman w/ axe

On 04-05-2011 at approx 10:44pm SFPD arrested Phillip N. Luffman age 29 of 49 Pleasant St Seneca Falls, NY on charges of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd, Menacing, Criminal Mischief, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child 2 counts. Luffman was involved in a domestic dispute, at his residence, with a Village resident and during such domestic threatened to kill the female victim with an axe while in the presence of two young children. Luffman is also accused of breaking a kitchen window in the residence. Luffman was taken into custody without incident and was arraigned in the Town of Junius Court Judge Laird where he was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000cash/$20,000bail bond. Luffman is to reappear in the Town of Junius Court on 04-11-11 at 7pm for a Felony Hearing.
