TCAT anticipates route delays as a result of the annual Dragon Day parade from 1 p.m.- 3 p.m. Friday, March 18, on the Cornell University campus.As soon as the parade begins at around 1 p.m., all vehicle traffic along the dragon route will be restricted and bus routes may be delayed or re‑routed as necessary. TCAT supervisors will be on site to monitor bus traffic.The Dragon Day parade route is as follows:· Leave Rand Hall around 1 p.m.· Travel east on University Avenue· Turn right (south) on East Avenue· Turn right (west) on Campus Road.· Turn right (north) on south-central walkway through Ho Plaza· Enter the Arts Quad between Uris and Olin Libraries· Proceed to the burn site on the south side of Sibley Hall.Cornell police and environmental health and safety officials ask the community to enjoy the festivities in a safe fashion and to avoid in any behavior that might result in injury. TCAT asks passengers to be patient during this fun and traditional event put on each year by Cornell’s freshmen architecture students. The yearly rite‑of‑spring event dates back more than a century.
