The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of the Chamber’s President, Rob Gladden. Gladden has decided to pursue other opportunities. Board Chair Kelly Mittiga, Senior Vice President of First Niagara Bank, said, “The board wishes to thank Rob for his leadership over the last several years. He has put us in a solid position to take advantage of opportunities with our new Visitors Center and other initiatives.”Spike Herzig of The Herzig Group will serve as interim President of the Chamber. A committee is being formed to perform a national search for the Chamber’s next leader. The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce serves over 500 businesses in the area and operates Geneva’s Visitors Center situated on the Geneva Lakefront.
