Auburn PD, U.S. Marshalls capture fugitive in Ca.

Research performed by members of the Auburn Police Department and the United States Marshals Service led to the location and apprehension of Khallin David Wesly Bigby in Los Angeles County California on 12-03-2010. Bigby was sentenced in absentia in Cayuga County Court in September 2010 to 9 years in state prison for charges stemming from a Finger Lakes Drug Task Force investigation and had been wanted ever since. Bigby was subsequently arrested in California on the Cayuga County Superior Court bench warrant and held on this warrant pending his extradition back to New York. Bigby waived the extradition back to New York State and was transported by way of the United States Marshals Service and was lodged in the Cayuga County Jail on March 9, 2011 pending his arraignment in Cayuga County Court on March 10, 2011.
