On March 4th, 2011 at approx. 1:28 AM the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Brett S. Lambert, age 22 from 8 Hawley Street Seneca Falls, NY for Disorderly Conduct; Resisting Arrest; and Obstructing Governmental Administration. The arrest stems from an incident where Lambert allegedly ran out in the roadway in front of a Seneca Falls Patrol vehicle and then began to dance around in front of the patrol vehicle causing the Officer to apply the patrol vehicles brakes in an aggressive manor in order to avoid hitting Lambert. Lambert was then placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct. While Officers were affecting the arrest, Lambert failed to comply with Officers orders by failing to keep his hands on the hood of the patrol vehicle and to get into the patrol vehicle. When Officers placed Lambert into the back seat of the patrol vehicle Lambert attempted to kick one of the Officers. Once back at the Seneca Falls Police department Lambert continued to be loud; belligerent; and aggressive toward Officers and refused to comply with their orders. Lambert also refused to be fingerprinted. Lambert was arraigned in the Seneca Falls Town Court in front of Judge Mahoney where Lambert continued his tirade. During the arraignment Judge Mahoney charged Lambert with Contempt of Court and sentenced him to thirty days in jail. Lambert was arraigned on the above charges and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $2,500 cash or $5,000 Ins. bond. Lambert’s next return date is March 23rd, 2011 at 9:00 AM.
