A woman from Rochester, N.Y. won a jackpot of $500,000 this past weekend at the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel. The lucky win took place early Saturday morning, February 26, on Aristocrat’s Millioni$er™ progressive penny slot machine. The player, Monica M., placed a maximum bet of $2.00 around 12:21 a.m. and her spin resulted in the jackpot bonus feature. She then selected three coins on a video screen, and all turned over to reveal “Grand Jackpot” symbols. The $500,000 jackpot was the highest amount for the game and will be paid by Aristocrat Technologies Inc., the machine’s manufacturer.“This is one of the largest jackpots in history at the Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel,” said B.J. Martin, vice president of slot operations. “It’s a life-changing win that will allow Monica and her family – including her five children and eight grandchildren – to enjoy more of what life has to offer. We extend our sincere congratulations to her.”Millioni$er is a Hyperlink® progressive and sports a patented second-screen feature with four different jackpot levels that can be triggered randomly during game play. The four tiered progressives give Millioni$er a higher hit frequency so players win jackpots more often. Millioni$er jackpots are paid out as an annuity over a 20-year basis.
