The Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES Adult and Continuing Education Program will host a free Informational Meeting to present an overview of the new Commercial Wind Turbine Technician Program (CWTT) on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Wayne Technical andCareer Center, 4440 Ridge Road in Williamson from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Up to 20 adult students will be selected to participate in the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) sponsored, 750-hour certification pilot program that will begin in the spring of 2011. Seating is limited for the informational session.Upon completion of the CWTT program, participants will be certified to maintain commercial and residential wind turbines that provide electrical energy to residents and businesses. Program schedule and tuition information will be discussed at the informational meeting.
