Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Frederick W. Norris, Jr., age 25, of 5766 State Route 96, Romulus, New York on Thursday evening following an investigation into a domestic dispute. Norris was charged with Criminal Mischief 4th (3 counts); Endangering the Welfare of a Child (2 counts) and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing (1 count). The charges stem from an incident that occurred at the above residence where it is alleged that Norris caused damage to a cell phone, punched a hole in the wall of the residence, and slit four tires with a knife causing them to go flat. Norris then reentered the home and began striking the victim in the back of the head while she was attempting to protect two children in the home from Norris. Norris then began choking the victim until he was eventually pulled off of her by a third party within the residence. Norris was arraigned at the Town of Romulus Court where he was committed to the custody of the Sheriff on $500.00 bail or $1000.00 secured bond. Norris is to reappear on 02/25/2011 at 10:00 am at the Town of Romulus Court. A class A order of protection was issued to the three victims.
