Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a one car personal injury accident on State Route 89, South of Hickok Rd. A 2005 Huyndai being operated by Gloria J Sumner, age 29, of 6050 Searsburg Road, Trumansburg, NY was traveling northbound on State Route 89 when the vehicle slid off the roadway and struck a tree. The accident appeared to be caused by icy road conditions. Sumner and another passenger in the vehicle, Kristen Q Delgado, age 24 of 777 Stafford Road, Shortsville, NY were both transported to Cayuga Medical Center via Trumansburg Ambulance for head, neck and back pain. Trumansburg Fire/Rescue assisted at the scene.
