Sandra D. “Sandy” Marsh, 51, of 2178 Grove St., died on Monday (February 14, 2011).The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday (Feb. 18) at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 S. Main St., Ovid. A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday (Feb. 19) at the Hector Presbyterian Church, 5511 Route 414, officiated by Pastors James and Nancy Yao. Prayers of committal will be held in Glenwood Cemetery in Watkins Glen in the Spring.In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that you consider a donation to the South Seneca High School Athletic Department, 7263 Main St., Ovid 14521, in Sandy’s memory.Sandy was born in Rochester on January 3, 1960, a daughter of Richard and Sally (Pybus) Chambers. She graduated from Watkins Glen High School in 1978 and then completed her degree work in drafting at Alfred Tech. Sandy worked as a financial planner and broker at her own business, Money Management Unlimited, in Watkins Glen.She was a dedicated money manager to all of her clients.Sandy was an avid outdoorswoman, mostly enjoying hunting and fishing. Her many pastimes included cooking, traveling dart leagues, and she had recently started making her own wine. Sandy strongly supported her children in their sporting and school events, a common face to many at South Seneca Central School. Her sparkling eyes, bright smile and kind soul will be greatly missed by her loving family, friends, colleagues and clients, and her memory will be forever cherished.Sandy is survived by her three children: Thomas F. (Emily Dalecki) Marsh of Elmira, John K. Marsh of Hector and Chelsey P. Marsh of Lodi; her parents, Dick and Sally Chambers of Burdett; four siblings: Kathy (Herb Baum) Whitmire of Maryland, Gary C.
