On, Monday evening at 9:55 p.m., Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a death at 2178 Grove Street, Lodi, New York. Upon arrival Sheriff’s Deputies found Sandra D. Marsh, age 51, of 2178 Grove Street, dead of an apparent gunshot wound to the upper torso. Seneca County Corner Paul McPherson ordered the body removed to the Onondaga County Medical Examiners Office for an autopsy. A joint investigation conducted by the Seneca County Sheriff’s and District Attorney’s Office resulted in the arrest of Vincent K. Voorheis, age 45, of 3838 County Road 139, Ovid, New York, who was charged with Manslaughter in the Second Degree, a Class C Felony, punishable by a maximum term of imprisonment of up to fifteen years in jail. Voorheis was arraigned before Town of Lodi Justice Louis VanCleef and committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000.00 cash or $100,000.00 bond.
