Seneca Falls Police arrested Alfredo Larosa, age 52, of 69 E. Bayard Street, Seneca Falls, NY 13148 at about 6:10pm while investigating a Burglary in Progress at a Walnut Street business. Larosa was observed taking a Laptop computer and automotive batteries from the business and left in a vehicle which was registered to an Auburn, NY address. State Police-Auburn and Cayuga Co. Sheriffs Deputies located the vehicle on State Rt 5 in the Town of Aurelius. Larosa was apprehended and the stolen property was located within the vehicle and were turned over to Seneca Falls Police. Larosa was charged with Burglary in the 3rd Degree and Petit Larceny and was arraigned in the Town of Tyre Court and committed to the SCCF in lieu of $1500 cash/$3000 bond. Larosa is to re-appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on February 16th, 2011 for a Felony Hearing. Larosa’s vehicle was impounded pending pending possible seizure proceedings. SFPD was also assisted by State Police-Waterloo.
