Cayuga Lake Wine Trail best deal for ’11 events

The Cayuga Lake Wine Trail offers great savings when you attend all of our four events for 2011 by purchasing our Season Pass. Our Season Pass is a ticket to all of our events at a special reduced price, 35% off the ticketed price. The Season Pass makes a great gift and if for some reason you’re not able to use the complete set of tickets, share them with a friend or family member and get them hooked on the most fun in the Finger Lakes.To begin our year we are hosting our Mardi Gras event on March 5 and 6. Experience the luck of the Irish to see if you have a little bit of luck or allot. First you’ll get to see if you’re lucky by participating in our quick draw of the lucky coin at each winery or by engaging in our Scavenger Hunt. The Mardi Gras Scavenger Hunt is new this year, where you can possibly win our version of a Pot of Gold, one case of our gold medal award-winning wines.Our newest event is our “Say Cheese” event on March 26 & 27 where we will collaborate with our cheesery partners of the Finger Lakes Cheese Trail. Each winery will offer a different type of artisan cheese paired with Cayuga Lake Wine Trail wines. Cathy Millspaugh, Executive Director of the Cayuga Lake Wine trail says “Throughout the event we’re hosting a special “Say Cheese” photo contest, where your favorite photo shots taken during the event weekend, can earn you a chance to win a Specialty Gift Basket from Cayuga Lake wineries and Finger Lakes cheeseries”.The Wine & Herb event on April 29 through May 1 or May 6 through the 8 entitles you to 16 herb or veggie plants perfect for your garden. This year take your mother out for a special Mother’s Day treat on the trail and help supply her garden with fresh herbs and veggies. At our Holiday Shopping Spree event on November 18 through the 20 or December 2 through the 4 you’ll receive, one of a kind, unique ornaments from each winery.The Wine and Herb and Holiday Shopping Spree events are now three day events. On the Friday of the event you can visit these participating wineries, Montezuma, Long Point, King Ferry (Treleaven) and Six Mile Creek to get a head start.A couple pass is $115.00 and a single pass is $70.00 plus handling fee and sales tax.
