The Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross is proud to announce the 6th Annual Red Cross Vegas Night presented by Constellation Energy in conjunction with Berry Plastics Corporation. The event will take place at the Palmyra Moose Lodge #1420 at 3808 Route 31 in Palmyra, NY on Saturday, January 29, 2011. Doors open at 6:30pm. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. They will be available for purchase at the Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross, 400 South Main St, Newark, NY 14513 or online at www.WayneCountyRedCross.org. Your ticket price includes hors d’oeurves, desserts and $20,000 in “Barton Bucks” (play money) to play Texas Hold ‘Em, Black Jack, Craps, Roulette, Beat the Dealer, Over/Under & more. There is also a live and silent auction, raffles and cash bar. The auctions will include items such as autographed celebrity items, tickets for Southwest and Air-Tran airlines, a Verizon Wireless cellular phone, a grill, sporting goods, certificates for entertainment and restaurants throughout Wayne/Monroe counties and much more. This event helps the Wayne County Chapter of the American Red Cross continue to be a vital part of the local community. Funds raised from this event will be used for disaster relief operations in Wayne County. “The Red Cross has responded to the needs of over two-hundred people affected by disasters with-in the past year and unfortunately that number continues to grow,” said Jim Love, Chapter Executive Director. “Funds raised through events like this allow us to always be there when disaster strikes.”
