It was exciting to hear Governor Cuomo’s call to open New York State for business once again. The Governor’s State of the State address touched on many issues that are not only priorities for me, but are critically important to the people of my District. We need private sector jobs so we can get people back to work and have career opportunities for our young people. We need a property tax cap and mandate relief from the hundreds of taxes that are straining family budgets and driving job-creating businesses out of New York.We need to reform our State government so that it spends less and operates more efficiently. New York cannot continue to be known as the spending capitol of the Nation. I commend Governor Cuomo for addressing all of these important priorities and I look forward to working with him for the benefit of all New Yorkers.
