Seneca County Sheriff Deputies investigated a personal injury motor vehicle accident on Co. Rd. 139 in Ovid, N.Y.Injured in the accident was the driver William H. Staples, 61, of 2063 Seneca Street, Ovid, N.Y., and the passenger Donna L. Stone, 50, of 25 Peterman Rd. Apt. B2 Seneca Falls. Staples was operating a Ford Ranger pick up truck east on Co. Rd. 139 on icy roads when the vehicle entered the ditch on the south side of the road and overturned. Both occupants were extricated by Ovid F.D. Staples and Stone were transported by South Seneca Ambulance to Geneva General Hospital for minor complaints of pain.
