Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a camper fire in the backyard of 1235 Route 96 in the Town of Waterloo on Thursday. A thirty-two foot camper owned by David G. Brownell, 47, of 1235 Route 96, Waterloo, New York, caught fire after sparks from a bonfire in the backyard blew into the camper. The camper became fully engulfed and was a total loss. The Waterloo Fire Department quickly extinguished the blaze. The camper was not insured and is valued at about $600.00. There were no injuries as a result of the fire.
