The Wayne County Salvation Army needs Volunteer Coordinators and Bell Ringers immediately. The Red Kettle Campaign is underway and Wayne County is suffering from a lack of volunteers to ring bells at the red kettles. The Salvation Army provides emergency assistance to those in need throughout the year from donations made into the red kettles. Coordinators are urgently needed in Lyons, Macedon, Newark, and Williamson. Bell ringers are needed throughout Wayne County. Anyone interested in being a coordinator should call Rod at (716) 498-2439. To volunteer for bell ringing, call Brenda, toll free at 1-888-434-1300.
