Burglary suspect arrested in Seneca Falls

On November 15th, 2010 at approx. 9:50 PM Seneca Falls Police Arrested Andrew L. Kappesser, age 18 from 1717 Burgess Road Waterloo, NY on an active Arrest Warrant and Bench Warrant. The Arrest Warrant stems from an investigation into an incident that occured on June 13th 2010 where Kappesser allegedly entered a Seneca Falls residence and stole a flat screen television and a laptop computer. Kappesser was charged with Burglary in the 2nd degree (class C Felony) and Grand Larceny 4th (class E Felony).Andrew L. Kappesser also had an active Bench warrant out of the Seneca Falls Town Court for failure to Pay Fine. The original charge on this case was sealed by the court.Kappesser was arraigned on both warrants in the Seneca Falls Town Court in front of Judge Mahoney. Kappesser was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $5,000.00 cash or $10,000.00 Ins bond for the felony counts and $250.00 cash or $500.00 Ins Bond for the Bench Warrant Failure to Pay charge. A felony Hearing is scheduled in the Seneca Falls Town Court on November 18th, 2010 at 9:00 AM.The Seneca Falls Police Department was assisted by the Seneca County Sheriffs Department with apprehending Kappesser.
