The Waterloo Police Department reports the arrest of Mark J. Kozemko, 52, of Seneca Falls, NY for Felony Driving While Intoxicated. The arrest is the result of a traffic stop as Kozemko had a headlight out. After further investigation and subsequent field sobriety test, Kozemko was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Kozemko had a previous Driving While Intoxicated conviction within the past ten year, making the current charge a Felony. Officers also found an open can of beer in Kozemko’s vehicle. Kozemko refused to give officers a breath or blood sample for analysis.Kozemko was issued tickets for Driving While Intoxicated, Open Container in a Motor Vehicle, Refusal to Submit to a Breath Test, and Inadequate Lights.Kozemko was arraigned in the Waterloo Village Court and remanded to jail in lieu of $1,500 cash or $3,000 secure bond. Kozemko is to return to the court at a later date to answer the charges.
