Kinney Drugs Inc., a leading healthcare organization in New York and Vermont announced today that they have entered into an agreement with Rite Aid, Inc. for the purchase of its prescription files located at 35 Forgham Street Lyons NY. Rite Aid will transfer its files to Kinney Drug’s Forgham Street location after the close of business on Sunday, October 17th.All customer prescriptions will automatically be transferred to Kinney Drugs located at 20 Forgham Street and prescriptions can be filled immediately. Rite Aid customers will be happy to find pharmacists Amy Castle, R.Ph, and Tonya Coleman, R.Ph. behind the Kinney pharmacy counter.In conjunction with the prescription transfer, Kinney Drugs also offers free prescription delivery at all of its locations. Customers can have their prescriptions delivered to their home with no delivery charge. Additional products from the store can be delivered along with the prescription, excluding alcohol and tobacco products.“We are pleased to welcome Rite Aid patients to the Kinney family,” said Bridget-ann Hart, R.Ph, president and chief operating officer of Kinney Drugs. “In keeping with our commitment to provide outstanding customer service, our Kinney employee-owners will make every effort to ensure this transition runs as smooth as possible for our new customers,” said Ms. Hart.
