Today is the second to last market day of the season here in Seneca Falls, which requires me to pause and thank you all; our customers, our friends and our supporters among our community. Whether you joined us each week, once in a while or once in a season, all of us involved thank you for your patronage. Thank you also to the professionals at ITT and The New York Chiropractic College and all of you who have shared this e-mail each week with your fellow workers and friends and helped spread the word!Thank you especially goes to Alberta, our market manager. Bert has been a terrific addition to the market family and worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help move the market forward and helped to make this year’s market the best it has ever been. Without her the market would be a lot more work and a lot less fun! Best of all, I enjoyed that nearly every time at the market seeing Bert greeting a friend, talking with a family member or chatting with our vendors. That is the true spirit of community and the market! And again, thanks to Pat Cafolla and his crew at the Village DPW who have never failed us in putting out the signs, making certain that People’s Park was ready and the electricity running. Pat, you and all the gang are worth your weight in produce (I just don’t know where to find a scale to measure that amount!).So please take a moment and stop by today or next week. Mark your calendars and come and enjoy the harvest of New York.
