Move into winter with a well-behaved canine! Schuyler County 4-H is offering Dog Training classes for youth ages 8 and older for Beginner Dog Obedience, Advanced Grooming and Handling, and Graduate Beginner Dog Obedience. All classes will be held Tuesday evenings from October 5 through November 9, 2010, at the Schuyler County Youth Site on Meads Hill Rd., Watkins Glen. Dogs must be at least 4 months old and have proof of current rabies, distemper, and parvo vaccinations. Each class is limited to the first 12 youth to register. The fee is $20 for 4-H members; $30 for non 4-H members. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children. For information or to register, contact Cate Sirek at 607-535-7161.
