Car driving in Seneca Falls on rims results in DWI

On September 12, 2010 at approx. 4:33 AM the Seneca Falls Police Arrested Tamara H. Helchowski, age 41 of 11 Hickory Park Road Cortland, NY 13045. Police received a 911 call of a vehicle traveling back and forth on Auburn Road on rims. Authorities then located the vehicle being driven by Helchowski in a parking lot on Auburn Road. Upon Investigation police found Helchowski to be intoxicated. Helchowski was then charged with DWI and was released to a 3rd Party. Helchowski is scheduled to appear at the Town of Seneca Falls Court on September 16, 2010 at 10:00 AM.On September 12th, 2010 at approx. 2:20 AM Seneca Falls Police arrested Brian M. Giovannini, age 22, who has no known address on two arrest warrants out of the Seneca Falls Town Court. The first warrant was for two counts of Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the 1st Degree. The Arrest Warrant stems from an incident that occured on August 28th, 2010 where Giovannini allegedly bought alcohol for two fifteen year old youths.The second Arrest Warrant was for the Village Code Violation of Open Alcoholic Beverage. On June 21st 2010 Seneca Falls Police witnessed Giovannini walking down a trail near the canal with an open acholic beverage. On this date Giovannini was issued an appearance ticket to appear in Seneca Falls Town Court to answer this charge. Giovannini never appeared in court on his court date and a warrant was issued. Seneca Falls Police arraigned Giovannini on both warrants in the Village of Waterloo Court in front of Judge Barto. Giovannini was committed to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $4,000 cash or $6,000 Ins Bond. Giovannini is scheduled to re-appear in Seneca Falls Town Court on October 6th, 2010 at 9:00 AM.
