Sheriff David Gould reports that The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a daytime residential burglary which occurred this date between the hours of 7:00am and 1:30pm. Unknown perpetrator(s) forced entry to a residence on Cottle Rd. near Bonta Bridge Rd. in the Town of Brutus and stole 2 large screen televisions, an MP-3 player and other electrical equipment. The perpetrator(s) drove a vehicle through the grass and out behind the residence to load the stolen property.The Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone who saw any suspicious vehicles or persons in that area to contact Detectives at (315) 253-1610.
