The Shops at Ithaca Mall management has notified TCAT that it will no longer permit a bus stop at the Target department store, effective Monday, Aug. 9.Citing concerns about road damage the buses are causing at the Target entrance, mall management said TCAT must use the bus stop at the bus shelter located at the Sears entrance on the southeast side of the mall, between the Bon-Ton and Dick’s Sporting Goods department stores.The bus shelter at Sears provides seating as well as TCAT schedules.”…we feel confident this area will continue to provide sufficient service for the bus system and our patrons,” mall management said in a letter to TCAT.TCAT apologizes for any inconvenience and asks that shoppers using the bus to plan accordingly.
