Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested David M. Bird, age 43, of 5766 Route 96, Romulus, NY Bird was charged with Driving While Intoxicated and Operating Out of Class. The charges stem from an accident Bird was involved in on State Route 96 in the Town of Romulus where he lost control of a motorcycle causing him to leave the west side of the roadway where he crashed the motorcycle into the ditch. Bird did not have a license to operate the motorcycle. Bird suffered injuries to his left leg and right shoulder and was transported by South Seneca Ambulance to Geneva General Hospital where he was treated for his injuries. Bird is scheduled to appear in the Romulus Town Court on October 1st 2010 to answer the charges.
