Seneca County Sheriff Deputies investigated a two car personal injury motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Waterloo Geneva Road and Border City Road in the Town of Waterloo. A vehicle traveling eastbound on Routes 5 and 20, operated by Shayne K. Feinberg, age 43, of 5 White Springs Circle, Geneva, New York attempted to make a left hand turn onto Border City Road in front of a second vehicle traveling westbound, operated by Jennifer L. Carmell, age 34, of 1225B Waterloo Geneva Road, Waterloo, New York. A passenger in Carmell’s vehicle, Donna M. Carmell, age 64, of the same address, was treated at the scene by North Seneca Ambulance personnel and released with a minor chest injury. Feinberg was also treated and released at the scene with a minor injury by North Seneca Ambulance Personnel. Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and had to be towed from the scene. Feinberg was issued a traffic ticket for Fail to Yield at an Intersection. The Border City Fire Department assisted at the scene.Seneca County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a two-car personal injury motor vehicle accident on Routes 5&20 in the Town of Seneca Falls. A vehicle being operated by Elizabeth J. Bennett, 19, of 1224 Hecker Road, Waterloo, New York, was making a left turn out of the Seaway Plaza and failed to see a vehicle that was eastbound on Routes 5&20. Bennett struck the vehicle that was being operated by Michael J. Homyn, 58, of 16 Union Street, Auburn, New York. Bennett and Homyn were both checked over at the scene by North Seneca Ambulance, but refused medical attention. The Waterloo Fire Department also assisted at the scene. Bennett was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way.
