Amber Simmons recently received the president’s gavel for the Rotary Club of Trumansburg for 2010-2011. Ms. Simmons resides in Romulus, New York.The club meets every Thursday at 6:30pm at The American Legion, Route 96 (just north of the Village off Rt. 96) Chartered in March, 1927, The Rotary Club of Trumansburg has 23 members who are active is serving the community and the world through its projects. Each year they welcome a foreign exchange student, and sponsor the Chris Bond 5K Run, Walk and Youth Run that benefits Rotary programs and scholarships. New members are welcome to join the club.
