The Seneca Falls Police Department and the Seneca County Sheriff’s Department will be hosting a Child Safety Event on July 10th, 2010 from 9am to 2pm at the Seneca Falls Fire Department on W. Bayard Street in Seneca Falls. Officers and Deputies will be providing Operation: Safe Child Identification Cards for any child under the age of 18 during the event. Additionally, Officers and Deputies will be conducting Child Restraint installations and inspections during the event. Safe Child ID’s will be provided on a walk-in basis and appointments are recommended for Child Restraint inspection/installation although officers will make every attempt to accommodate those without appointments. Each Child Restraint inspection / installation will take about 20-30 minutes per seat.
