Discount tickets for the 2010 Cortland Arts and Wine Festival are now available online at www.cortlandartsandwine.com. The online price of $12 reflects a 20% savings over the on-site price the day of the event. The 4th annual edition of the festival will be held Saturday, August 7, in Courthouse Park in Downtown Cortland. Festival hours are from 10 am to 6 pm. The wine tent opens at noon. Once again, the Cortland Arts and Wine Festival will present a wide selection of regional foods. Classically oriented music will be performed by local musicians, and a juried selection of 50 artists and artisan crafters will display their work. Artwork will be for sale. The 20 participating wineries will include several attending for the first time. This year raffle baskets with impressive contents donated by local businesses will make their premiere.The Cortland Arts and Wine Festival has become a favorite outdoor summer event in the region with a unique and elegant atmosphere that will be fondly remembered long after the day is over. The festival also provides an excellent opportunity for picking up seasonal gifts while supporting the local economy. The Arts and Wine Festival is sponsored by Royal Motors, McNeil Insurance and Cayuga Radio. Tickets can be purchased online until 11 pm Thursday, August 5.
