Tops Friendly Markets Grand Opening Event was held Tuesday June 29th at 10:30am.Over 100 people were there to help celebrate Tops future success in Seneca Falls and Waterloo. The ribbon cuttings were performed by Tops President and CEO Frank Curci and Seneca County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Jeff Shipley. Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-service, 24 hour, grocery retailer in upstate New York and northern Pennsylvania contributed to six local charities at the Grand Opening. The six local charities were presented with a $250 check donation. The donations went to: Waterloo Memorial Day Museum, Women’s Rights National Historical Park, The House of Concern, Waterloo & Seneca Falls Police Departments, and the Sheriff’s Department. Tops Market has added many new improvements to the store. In addition to a new face lift and sign Tops has added a Natural Organic Food section and plans to open a Bulk Foods section in July.
