TCAT is closed with no service Sunday, July 4, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. The administrative office is also closed Monday, July 5, but TCAT will offer reduced service based on its normal Saturday schedule. However, TCAT will operate the Route 22, which serves Taughannock Falls State Park, Cass Park and Cayuga Nature Center.TCAT’s operations team based its decision to limit Monday service following a survey of local businesses and government offices that reported they will be closed that day, because the holiday falls on a Sunday. However, TCAT’s operations team decided to add the Route 22 to accommodate passengers who are more likely to attend outdoor activities in the parks that day.
